Hi I'm Vasily Sapozhnikov
I grew up in the small town of Kotovo. I am a musician, was recently married, and love fishing. I’m a Mormon.
I have a music group. My friends and I do what we love. Recently I got a job with a choir at the Theater. It seems like it will be really interesting to work there, but I need to learn a lot and it is a bit difficult for me. I love fishing; I could sit in one place looking at a bobber for about 12 hours and it would seem but a small moment. I love my parents. I love my wife.
Why I am a Mormon
Because here I am truly happy. I do not mean that every moment I fly on wings of freedom without a care in the world. Here there are many difficulties and a lot of responsibility, but the influence of the Holy Ghost allows me to understand that in this work of perfecting myself, in this striving to be closer to my family and to God, that you truly become a happy person. Somehow this is so.
How I live my faith
In my ward I have a calling. I am the ward mission leader. This is a very important calling in my view. I help the missionaries make contact with new people. I help the ward members work together with the missionaries. I also am the leader of the Moscow Stake Choir. This is a mega interesting calling. We all learn how to sing together, even if before you were hopelessly tone deaf. God works miracles in our Church and people in our choir see this directly through singing!!!
