Hi I'm Nelisa
I'm an aunt, a teacher & beach goer. I talk for a living, and I am Mormon.
I'm from one of the most beautiful places in the world, the Northern Beaches in Sydney Australia. I have been in training and development my entire career and have taught in several industries including employment, health and now Corrections. There's something satisfying about passing on information in an entertaining way and sparking peoples interest to want to learn more. I've taught subjects ranging from employment law, interview skills, conflict management and offender profiling. Deep down, I'm a geek...but I love it! When I'm not working, I'm at the beach, running, swimming, studying, shopping, reading, or just enjoying time with mates.
Why I am a Mormon
I believe that the greatest lessons in life are felt not heard, and when I prayed to find out if the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints was true, I felt that is was and is. I prayed, the Lord answered, and I followed.
How I live my faith
I worked as a full time missionary in Melbourne, Australia and have since worked as a leader and mentor with Latter Day Saint and Non Latter Day Saint youth in my local community. The current role I am in at the moment involves me assisting, and delivering training to teachers in the church who have been assigned to teach children in the Primary Organisation. The Primary Organisation overseas the teaching of children ranging from ages 1-12. I am also a volunteer for New South Wales Police where my role involves me delivering training for other volunteers and advocating for minors who may face legal charges.
