Hi I'm Zack Bradshaw

I love my family, swimming, guitar, and serving others. I am called to serve in the Peru Piura Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi! My name is Zack Bradshaw. I love to swim, hike, play the guitar, and be with my friends and family. I am about ready to graduate from Lone Peak High School and have served as the senior class president there. I swam on the swim team for my four year at high school. Recently, I was called to serve as a missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Peru Piura Mission! I have never been so excited in my life! I also have a brother serving a mission in the Ghana Accra Mission. I love to try new things, whether it be foods, activities, or sports. I love to be around people. Making someone happy is my greatest joy. I love my family dearly, and cannot imagine life without them. This past year, I was blessed enough to be selected as the Sterling Scholar representative from my high school in the English category. I am so blessed to be where I am, with who I am with, and know what I know. I love the church, and would not be anything without it. Christ is my savior, and I love him.

Why I am a Mormon

I have always been a part of the church, but I did not have a complete knowledge of the truthfulness of the gospel until I was 15. I had always believed that the church was true because everyone around me knew it was true. I desired to learn for myself, to gain the sure knowledge that the church is true. I studied and read the Book of Mormon, prayed, and lived all of the commandments, but still, the Holy Ghost did not answer my question. In the summer between my freshman and sophomore years, I attended a church program for a week at BYU. I learned lots about the gospel, and when it came time at the end of the week to tell others what we learned, an overwhelming yet comforting feeling came over me and I knew that all that I had studied, all that I had known was true. I know that Christ lives. I know that He is my Savior, and through him, I can live, with my family, for eternity. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet and that he translated the Book of Mormon correctly. The Book of Mormon is the word of God, and it provides me daily comfort. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our true prophet today, and I am so grateful for the modern day revelation which we are blessed with. I am grateful that I could be baptized at the age of eight, receive the Holy Ghost, and be a part of this marvelous church.

How I live my faith

Being a part of the Church has greatly blessed my life. Throughout my youth, I have served as a youth group leader in my church. We have fun worthwhile activities every Wednesday, and strive to make everyone feel included. I attend church every Sunday, and love serving my fellow members. I attend seminary at school and study on my own time to learn more about God's plan for me and the love he has for me, and in return, I am blessed with having the companionship of the Spirit. Everyday, I strive to serve someone who is not expecting it. I try to be the best example that I can possibly be, all of the time. Recently, I was called to serve as a missionary in the Peru Piura Mission. I am so excited to serve, learn more about the gospel, and to teach the people of Peru!
