Hi I'm Jessie Wengert

I am on a Mission serving in England,I am a die hard Utah State Aggie Fan and Student,I am forever an AZ girl, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am originally from a small town just outside of Tucson, Arizona called Marana. I grew up on 23 acres of land where my dad owns his own veterinarian practice. My mom is a veterinarian assistant but her real job is taking charge of the Wengert Clan, which is a job in itself. I am the middle child of nine siblings and could not ask for a better family. I have two adorable nephews who are the only two boys I need in my life at the moment! I enjoy running, reading a good book, being with my family, doing triathalons, and being around my friends. My top bucket list items are to do a half Ironman, take the first flight out of an airport to anywhere in the world, be a participant on a game show, and go on a charity health trip to Africa. I am currently attending Utah State University in Logan, Utah, majoring in Health Education and Promotion, and toughing out the harsh Logan Winters (I am a AZ girl for sure). However, I put all of that on hold and am currently serving a mission in the Birmingham, England Mission for the next 18 months. I reported to the MTC the same day that my little brother reported to serve in Argentina. I love life. The Church is True and it has blessed my life every day and continues to do so, and it is only getting better......

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because it makes me happy. I love to be happy and the promises we receive, the people I am surrounded by, and the feelings I feel, that is why I am so happy. This gospel gives me a sense of direction and confidence as I go throughout my life on a daily basis. The gospel of Jesus Christ that I live never holds me back. but propels me foward. The ending promises of eternal life with my family is the greatest gift I could ever receive, and as a member, I am entitled to this very gift. I am a Mormon because it makes me happy- it defines me.

How I live my faith

I do my best to live my faith by all my actions and doings. Believing and living the gospel are two different things. The gospel is more than a religion we follow, but more of a lifestyle we willingly chose to follow. One of the best ways to show my faith is by being an example to others around me. The gospel makes me who I am and happy. This is why I strive to live by faith everyday, to be happy. I do my best to serve others, and do my best to improve on a daily basis. As I live my faith, I know I am blessed more than I will ever know or see.
