Hi I'm Jayden

I'm from Idaho. I'm a dancer, actor and singer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have been singing all my life in choirs and more recently as a soloist and I have always played piano. Acting has always been a small part of my life, especially in high school and college. And I only recently started dancing ballroom and I am completely in love with it. Dancing is a whole new world of expression and interaction that really has no equal. All this performing has really help me to find myself and who I want to be. With all the amazing people and opportunities, there is never a dull moment. From touring in New York City to goofing off in practice, performing comes with fun and excitement you wont find anywhere else.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church with absolutely amazing and understanding parents and family members who support me through everything. They really have inspired me and shaped my life in so many ways. I have been blessed with so many testimony building opportunities its hard to know when exactly my testimony that this is the true church was cemented. It really was just the little things. From weekly family lessons, to shared experiences by each of my parents and siblings, to service opportunities and huge trips to historic church sites. My testimony has really been built on the experiences my parents have given me. They taught me that this really is a gospel of peace and love, and there is no more meaningful way to live my life. I have found purpose and peace in the gospel in a way that I really can't describe. It has pushed me to work as hard as I can to make everyone feel the love and peace from God that I have been blessed to feel in so many ways throughout my life. He loves each and everyone of us more than we can possibly imagine and there is nothing more rewarding than helping others to feel that love through this amazing gospel. Being a Mormon is so much more than church on Sunday. It is a lifestyle of love and gratitude and service taught through example.

How I live my faith

Sometimes all the performing can be a bit overwhelming but it just makes me even more grateful to have the opportunity to take a break from it on Sunday when I go to church. At my church, I am responsible for playing the hymns in our meeting for sacrament. Every Sunday starts with practicing the three to four hymns I'll be playing for church and then I head early to church to play prelude music on the stand. God has granted me so many opportunities with the gifts and talents he has given me, I am more than happy to give back in this small way. I hope every Sunday to invite the Holy Ghost into the meeting through the music. Despite my busy schedule, I make sure to show God my gratitude for these blessings by serving others and fulfilling my responsibility every Sunday to the best of my ability.
