Hi I'm Michael

I grew up in Utah, USA. I enjoyed high school. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy reading books, acting, and hanging out with friends (because who doesn't like that?). Working at a BSA Scout Camp was a highlight experience and taught me to love (not just enjoy) hiking and being outside. My high school years were fun after I decided to "make a great day" every day. Learning, especially about the sciences, is a passion of mine.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because nothing makes me happier or brings me more lasting peace than living the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I know that I have grown into a much better person than I would have been if I hadn't grown up with the Gospel that encourages me to try to be more like Christ.

How I live my faith

I've been a Mormon for all of my life. At times I have had doubts, but after careful prayer and scripture study I have always grown stronger in my testimony that this IS the church of God. My most recent calling was the Bishop's First Assistant in the Priest's Quorum. There I got the opportunity to think of-and act on-specific people's needs weekly, even when they didn't appear to need anything. I also made it my duty in high school to say hello to just about everyone I saw in the hallways.
