Hi I'm Gideon

I'm a student, I love sports, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have always loved playing and watching sports. I played football in high school and I love watching my favorite teams play. I come from a big family and love to play games with my siblings. I plan on going to Brigham Young University for school. I want to be a Police Officer.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a member of the Church, I have been able to see the blessings that living the teachings of the Church has brought to me and my family. Reading in the scriptures from the Holy Bible and the Book of Mormon has increased my belief in Jesus Christ. These scriptures testify of His life and teachings. I have learned that God the Father has a plan for all of us, His children. We have been sent to the Earth to learn and grow. He knew that we would make mistakes while we where on Earth, and so he sent His Son Jesus Christ to take upon Himself all of our sins. Christ was the only one who could do this for us. As we follow his commandments we will receive blessings. Because we know what Christ did for us, we want to repent of what we do wrong and turn to Christ. We must follow the commandments that he has given us, and as we do we are blessed. I have a testimony that Jesus Christ is the Son of a living God, and that he is the Savior of the World. Because of this knowledge I want to follow Him and be better.

How I live my faith

As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I have been able to participate in countless service projects. Learning to serve others has taught me a lot and has blessed my life. The Church is very effective in serving others, teaching members to serve as Christ served others. There are so many opportunities to help other people as you come across a need. I have gained so much by taking time to serve somebody else.
