Hi I'm Colby Wilkins

I was born and raised in Idaho. I have been called to serve the Lord in the Ghana Cape Coast Mission. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Idaho. My father is a farmer by trade and it is not uncommon for myself and my siblings to help out on the family farm. I have grown to love farming and all of it's unique aspects. I enjoy playing sports, especially tennis and basketball. I recently graduated from high school and I am preparing to serve a mission in the Ghana Cape Coast Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the church is true. I have been blessed in the sense that I was born to two parents who have strong testimonies and have a love for the gospel of Jesus Christ. As I have grown up, I have gone to church alongside my family where I was able to build my very own testimony. I know that Joseph Smith restored the fullness of the gospel in this dispensation and that, with the power and authority of our loving Heavenly Father, translated the Book of Mormon. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it really is another testament of our Savior Jesus Christ. I know that our Heavenly Father has a been for us and that at the center of this plan is the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ was crucified to atone for our sins and through this atonement and repentance, we are all able to repent and become clean from our sins and shortcomings. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints really is Jesus Christ's church on the earth today. I know that the church is lead and directed by a living prophet who receives revelation to guide the members of the church and help all of us return to live with our Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

I attend a young singles adult branch with other young members from my area. As a youth, I have enjoyed being able to attend seminary, mutual, and my weekly church meetings. I have loved being able to grow my testimony of the gospel while being surrounded by others of my faith.
