Hi I'm David

I grew up in a small town in Southeastern Idaho. I was born in the LDS church and have a strong testimony of it. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I've been a river guide on the Salmon River for the last few years, and love whitewater rafting and kayaking. I also love hiking, biking, skiing, as well as just chilling and reading a book. I plan on attending college after I come home from serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I know this church is true. Often when I read the scriptures, or listen to General Conference, or attend Sunday School, I get a warm, hopeful, and just wonderful feeling that testifies to my mind and heart that what I heard or read was true. I've had too many of these experiences to feel or think otherwise. This gospel brings me joy, peace, brotherhood, belonging, and knowledge. Everything about this church is good, and because of that, I know that the church is good as well as true. This knowledge gives me a purpose; I would be lost without it. I love this church, I love its teaching, and I love my Savior, and because of that, I know that everything will work out the most perfect way possible. It won't be the most easy way, but it will be the best.

How I live my faith

I try to participate as much as I can in my ward. I love serving the members of both my community and my ward. It is wonderful to know that I can go to anyone in my ward and be able to trust them and get their help.
