Hi I'm Carol

I grew up in a small town in Wyoming. We have 6 children who are all married and we have 17 grandchildren. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a grandma of 17 grandchildren. That's my favorite job. I love to read. I've been a piano teacher since I was 15 years old. I just retired this year. I love to travel. I love to read while sitting on a beautiful, warm beach. I have a beautiful flower garden. I go outside every morning and walk around to see what's happening in the yard.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up being a member of the church. My testimony has grown and strengthened over the years. My testimony means everything to me. I have a very strong witness that Joseph Smith was a real prophet. He saw and talked to God the Father and to Jesus Christ. I am so thankful to know their true nature. They are real people. I am a child of God. He loves me personally and so does Jesus Christ. In callings I have had, I have many times received a testimony of God's personal love for all of His children. This keeps me going. I know I am never alone. I continue as a member of the church because I am certain that it is Jesus Christ's church. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have many opportunities in the church to serve Him and to show my love for both God and Jesus Christ. I know that making covenants and keeping them will help me be happier. The eternal nature of families and the ability to be sealed to mine means everything to me. I love the Gospel of Jesus Christ and I know that this is His true and complete church. I'm excited to serve a mission with my husband.

How I live my faith

I love being a member of our church. It defines me. It makes me happy. I have served in many ways throughout my life. I feel like it is a pleasure to serve the Lord and show my appreciation for all He has given me. I love visiting the sisters in our ward. Their faith strengthens mine. I love seeing all the good things that they do for each other. I have taught youth classes and love listening to their testimonies. I hope I have helped them become even stronger and closer to the Lord. I've served in quite a few music callings. I love playing and singing praises to the Lord. I've been a piano teacher for many years so my students use their musical skills to serve in the church. That is very rewarding. I love teaching adult, teen, or children's classes. My testimony grows and I always feel the Spirit helping me prepare lessons.
