Hi I'm Ashley

I grew up in a small town in Utah. I love music, sunsets, and adventures with my friends or family. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

One of my most favorite things to do is write and create music. My entire life is surrounded by music because my dad is a music teacher. My whole family plays instruments. When I'm not making music, I'm probably going on spontaneous adventures with my friends, hanging out with my family, or enjoying nature. I will be serving in the Philippines Quezon City mission from June 2018 to December 2019! I can't wait to share the gospel message with people across the world!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a Mormon family. My whole life, I have been raised this way. I have always loved the church and know that it has brought me and my family happiness and hope! Growing into my high school years, I was really able to grow a testimony of my own. I have truly felt of Heavenly Father's love for me, throughout my whole life. I feel very blessed to be on such a beautiful earth, surrounded by loving people, and having a knowledge of Jesus Christ and the perfect example he is. I know that Heavenly Father loves each and every one of His children. I have felt that. I know that Jesus Christ did die for us and that he suffered so that we can repent of our sins and mistakes - every day. And not only that, but he also knows us each personally. He knows how we feel - when we ache, when we grieve, when we rejoice, when we feel peace - and he knows the intentions of our hearts. We truly need his support and light in our lives... I don't know where and who I would be without this gospel!

How I live my faith

I love that God has given us talents so we can use them to uplift and inspire others! My family loves to play music for those who are in need of a little extra cheer. I also had the opportunity to be the music coordinator in my ward so I got to pick the music that was played or sung in sacrament meeting. I also live my faith by being a friend to everyone and being kind. I try to look for ways to serve others - even if it's as small as smiling and waving to a stranger.
