Hi I'm Brittany

I'm California raised. I love being creative and singing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student. I love little kids and I aspire to work with kids in my near future. I like to sing, paint, and practice calligraphy. I love the beach and hanging out with my friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this gospel, but came to believe its teachings on my own time. I have now chosen to share the happiness and peace that I have felt from learning and practicing the Mormon religion to a foreign area of the world as a missionary. This gospel has always brought a sense of calmness and joy into my life. I do not know where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I love to attend church because I always leave feeling uplifted. I always feel at home and welcomed. I am able to participate and learn about my loving Savior. Church is my time to rejuvenate myself and prepare for the upcoming week.

What are Mormon women like? Do Mormons believe in equality of men and women?

Brittany
I believe that both genders are equal and are respected as such in our church. In marriage, a man and woman are to be each other's counterparts, and uplift and strengthen each other. Equal does not mean that they have the exact same responsibilities or strengths, but that they handle those responsibilities together as a partnership. One spouse is not more important than the other. I know that God loves all of his children equally, and that He wants us all to treat others the same way. Because God created us and loves us all equally, it only makes sense that men and women are both equally important. Show more Show less
