Hi I'm Rachel

I am a small town girl, go to college at Brigham Young University, and I serve as a missionary in Fukuoka Japan. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in a small town in Arizona. In high school I loved to play soccer and basketball. I go to college at Brigham Young University. I am currently serving as a missionary for the church in Fukuoka Japan. I love to play other sports and games with family and friends and am really competitive. I enjoy being outdoors, traveling, and trying new things.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the gospel and its teachings bring me so much lasting peace, hope, and happiness. I know that the principles of the gospel are correct and that this is Christ's church on the Earth today. I know that my Savior Jesus Christ lives and He knows and loves each of us perfectly and because of that, He knows what we are going through and we can live again with our families. I am a Mormon because living the gospel brings me closer to my Savior Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. Following them and living the gospel brings so much joy to me that it makes following the principles of the church worth it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be a good example to others. I do the simple things that bring the Spirit into my life like praying, studying the scriptures, attending church and the temple. I strive to follow the Savior and do what He asks because I know it brings happiness into my life.
