Hi I'm Tanner

I grew up in Wisconsin. I love music and reading and drawing. I started a Comic Book CLub in high school. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love most types of music and art. I played French Horn in school and like to play piano/synth and my Irish pennywhistle. I love to draw superheroes and monsters and Transformers and pop-culture plays a huge role in my hobbies. When I can I like to work on my Spider-Man cosplays or other props. I'm an Eagle Scout and my project was a books/toys/game drive for the Ronald McDonald House Charity. I love science and magic, and when I feel inspired I like to work on my sci-fi or fantasy books. I love going to see movies and Infinity War broke my heart. My favorite books would have to be the Book of Mormon, Fablehaven, and Eragon. My favorite movie is probably Jurassic Park.

Why I am a Mormon

I have made a lot of mistakes, but being a part of this church was never one of them. Jesus Christ died for me and knows me, and even though I was born into this church I have had doubts and questions and have had to experience my own conversion. Prayer works. Reading the Book of Mormon works. God is real and He loves me and I know He loves you, too. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints IS God's restored church here on the Earth. It's a wonderful group of sinners trying to become better everyday with help from the Savior's Atonement for us. It's true. That's why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I have been a leader and teacher with the young men, a choir director, and am currently the teacher of the Gospel Principles class in my ward. I am very active in serving others of our ward and love to share the gospel with those in my community. Because I was in Boy Scouts I had many opportunities to do yard work or other service with the boys from my church.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Tanner
We commit to following the Savior's example and are baptized upon conversion by those men who hold the proper priesthood authority of God by way of total immersion. Show more Show less
