Hi I'm Peter

I was born and raised in Idaho. Growing up, I learned Spanish from my dad and school. I love the outdoors. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy backpacking and camping. In high school I discovered my love for writing. I have 6 brothers and 1 sister. My mom was baptized when she was in the Air Force in Germany, but she isn't active. My dad grew up LDS. I've played soccer my whole life, and rugby for 2 years. I plan to go to college and become an oncologist.

Why I am a Mormon

Most of my family isn't Mormon. I have noticed how they aren't necessarily as happy as I am. When I was 12 I really didn't think I would be a part of this church when I turned 18, but since then I have had too many experiences with the Holy Ghost to deny that this is Christ's Gospel. This is a real path to happiness, and it's the only one I know of. I know my Father in Heaven loves us all and wants us to be happy, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Honestly, I just try to love everyone. That's my goal. I want to get to the point where I don't wrongfully judge others, and I can focus on just making people happier. I love this church because it's centered on Christ, and He is the rock to my testimony. I've had a few callings to help the youth in our church. It's been a blast getting to know kids, making friends, and hearing people's stories. I'm going on a mission to Cali, Colombia, and I know that I will be blessed to watch others' lives change for the better.
