Hi I'm Kiki

Idaho is where I was raised, but the Dominican Republic is my home all the same. I find purpose in service and music. I am LDS.

About Me

Service is the core of my cause! Teaching English to youth abroad, engaging in refugee work, preparing food for LDS Missionaries, and writing poetic journal entries that I transform into my music are just a few things I love to do. Also, I will love to share the gospel in Iloilo, Philippines may pronto! I attended one year at BYU in Provo, Utah and enjoyed studying Spanish and playing in a Mariachi Band. I love my family. I have one parent who is a member and one who is Catholic. I feel blessed to have parents who believe in God and support me in all I do.

Why I am a Mormon

To be Mormon, means to be love and hope, to be Christ-like and work towards being the best version of yourself, as well as to stand for a greater cause. I love to serve and make it apart of all that I do. Being Mormon means I believe in a forgiving, merciful, and charitable God who loves us all equally and purely as His own. We are His children and we are here to help one another.

How I live my faith

I recently retired from being a leader of a small group of college students. I was called the Family Home Evening mom, organizing events, planning activities we could all do together every week, and of course bringing treats! I strive to give more than I take and love all those with whom I cross paths.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Kiki
Not only do we serve our fellow members of the church, but our fellow human beings; God's children all over the world.Mormons help one another, brothers and sisters, strangers, friends, and neighbors. We believe that we are all children of LOVING, Heavenly parents. By following their examples, we are able to minister unto the world. Heavenly Father and His son Jesus Christ are literally pure love in definition, action, example and beyond. We live in the world, but not of the world. We take service to another height, and minister to all who are within our reach. Show more Show less
