Hi I'm Brianna Ballegooie

I am from Salt Lake City, Utah. I am preparing to serve a mission. I love the Gospel. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student living in Utah. I am studying to be a nurse and I am currently working as a nursing assistant to gain experience. I have recently been called to serve as a missionary for the church to the Texas Houston mission. So I am anxiously preparing for that. Some of the things that I enjoy doing are running, swimming, boating, river rafting, hiking, watching movies, having picnics, cooking, and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I was baptized at the ripe old age of 11! I had a couple of friends who would tell me about what they learned in primary each week and eventually, one of them asked me if I wanted to go to church with her. I happily told her that I would ask my mom and she said yes! So we talked for a long time the night before about my excitement, and then I went to church for the first time the following morning. I also started attending Activity Days previous to going to church and started to get lessons from the missionaries. I'm not sure how long I took their lessons before getting baptized, but I sure knew it was right. Ever since, my faith has never shaken and I owe that to the true and lasting joy and happiness that the gospel brings to me. I have been through some pretty tough things in my life and I can say without a doubt that I would not have gotten through them without Jesus Christ and His gospel. I know that Heavenly Father placed me where I was at that time with those friends to help me receive the gospel. Because of that, I know that there is a reason for everything and that Heavenly Father has a plan for each of us and that one day, we can all return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I currently serve as a primary teacher for the 4-5 year old class. I also serve on the Humanitarian Committee where we plan and organize service opportunities for the members of our ward. As I mentioned in my introduction, I have been called to serve as a missionary for the church, so I will be devoting 18 months of my life to help others come to Christ.
