Hi I'm Peyton Griffin

I grew up in Provo, Utah. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I have lived in Utah my whole life and I have really enjoyed living here. I spent a lot of a time in the mountains growing up and still do. I really enjoy hiking and exploring the outdoors. It is an activity that brings peace to my life. I also enjoy playing and watching sports. In high school I played baseball and wrestled. These sports helped shape who I am today and taught me many important lessons. So to sum it all up, I like being outside.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a part of this church my whole life but there were times in my life where I wasn’t living worthily. During these times I thought I was happy. But it was a temporary happiness. The happiness I thought I had quickly disappeared and I found myself alone and unhappy. So I decided to change my life. I am a Mormon because I can honestly say it brings me happiness. When I live worthily and follow God’s commandments I can honestly say it brings joy and peace into my life. I love this church and I know that it is the true church of God. And I know if we are faithful and obedient to God’s commandments we will find happiness and meaning in our lives.

How I live my faith

I am about to leave on a two year mission to the Washington DC south mission as a Chinese-Mandarin speaking missionary. It is something I have worked a long time for and I am very excited for this opportunity to serve. I was able to serve in the temple for about six months before my mission. It has taught me a lot about the eternal blessings promised to us if we are faithful to the covenants we make with God. It has been great working there and I have gained many wonderful experiences that will be with me for the rest of my life.
