Hi I'm Sarah Gyman

I've lived in 7 states. I want to be an Elementary School teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Sarah and I love to run! I am a college student studying Elementary Education and I'm preparing to serve a mission in July. I love long distance running and am working up to eventually run a 10k, a half marathon, and then a marathon (wish me luck). I also enjoy crafts, especially making friendship bracelets.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because this religion brings me JOY! Knowing I have a Father in Heaven who loves me and knows my needs is so comforting and special. This religion is also has its abundance of hard things, which helps me learn I can do hard things through Christ and my faith and action. The Church is a place where I am not alone. Everyone else is there to get better, to become more Christ-like. We are all saints because saints are just sinners who keep on trying. I feel comfort knowing that I do not have to be perfect as long as I am trying and following God's words.

How I live my faith

I am preparing to serve a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I will be gone for 18 months and will be serving people in the area in anyway I can help, whether it be spiritually or physically, such as helping clean up from tornados and the like. This commitment helps me to have faith that God will provide for me and will guide me through any trials I may face along the way, such as homesickness.
