Hi I'm Cynthia Price

I grew up in Northern Utah. I am married with six married children and 21 grandchildren. I teach elementary school. I'm a mormon!

About Me

My parents moved around a lot while I was younger. It was hard making new friends each time we moved. When my father was asked to teach at a University, our lives became simpler and we stayed in one place. I graduated from Seminary and High School and met my husband. We got married, had six children and when they were all in school, I also went back to school to get my bachelor degree in education. Later I completed my master's degree, ESL, gifted, and math endorsements and taught school for 20 years.

Why I am a Mormon

Although I was brought up in the church, it wasn't until we moved away to Germany that I had to gain a testimony of Jesus Christ myself. Reading the Book of Mormon and highlighting important passages helped me gain a stronger testimony of the truthfulness of that book and that it is truly "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." It is a companion to the Holy Bible. I am grateful for the testimony I have of Jesus Christ and the fullness of the gospel that has been restored to the earth. Knowing we have a true prophet who leads us through modern revelation is a gift that guides my actions so that I may one day live with my family in the eternities to come.

How I live my faith

After we were married a couple years, my husband joined the Air Force. We moved around 19 times in 21 years. It was though the support of the people in our wards that blessed us and fellowshipped us. I love to meet with the saints and minister to those neighbors around us. I have worked in many callings such as music, teaching the youth, and teaching adults. I find that the more I study to teach, the more I learn.
