Hi I'm Riley Whitaker

I grew up in Kanosh, Utah. There are eight people in my family. I love to go hiking. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play volleyball. For my whole life volleyball has been such a big part of my life and my family. I also really like to go hiking and camping and I love going to new places I've never been before. I currently just finished my first year of college and am now waiting to serve my mission. I love the gospel and it has always been a huge part of my life and I can't wait for the opportunities that await me on my Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member because I love this gospel. I grew up in the church and I've been able to see the blessings that come from being apart of the gospel. However, even though I've grown up in the church I haven't always had a testimony of my own. It wasn't until the summer when I was 16 that I was finally able to gain a testimony of my own. I hope that each of you can gain a testimony to. I want you to know that I have a testimony of this gospel. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. I know that Christ suffered and died for us so that we could live with him again. I know that Joseph Smith is a true prophet of God and that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Heavenly Father loves each and everyone of us and he wants all of us to make it back to him. I love this gospel with every inch of my being. I know this and say this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

How I live my faith

I currently participate in my ward/ community by regularly going to my church meetings and filling in for others when they need help. I was the President of the young women's group called, "Laurels" and even though I don't currently have a calling, I participate and live my faith my helping others with theirs and finding service anywhere I can.
