Hi I'm Christian

I grew up in Mattawa Washington. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am 20 years old and I am the 3rd of 5 children. I love working with my camera. I also love Harry Potter. It has been my comfort zone since my childhood. See, I have dealt with Aspberger's all my life. It has been both a trial and a blessing. I struggled with being bullied, communicating with others and other things associated with dealing with autism. With the help and love of my family and also an amazing therapist that helped me be successful in dealing with my social and communication issues, I have been able to keep a great job, go to college, make great friends, and get ready to serve a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church. Even though it is all I have known, I have had the chance to go to other churches at one time or another. There is a spirit that is associated with our church that I have not been able to feel in any of the others. I feel peace, comfort and a feeling of being "at home" when I go to church on Sunday. Any LDS building I go to, whether it be in Africa or Alaska, the teachings are always the same. To me, that is testimony that the Gospel is true and I know that what I am doing is right.

How I live my faith

I have always been a black and white kind of guy. Rules are easy for me to follow because of me being on the spectrum. I have not had that many jobs in the church. The only jobs that I have had is teaching an 9 yr old Sunday school class and helping teach the youth about finding their ancestors as a Youth Family History Consultant. I feel that the most important thing in the world is to be a good example of your faith and to show others how to be Christlike.
