Hi I'm Hannah

I'm a Mormon. I grew up in Fruit Heights, Utah. I come from a family of five, three girls and my parents.

About Me

I am from Fruit Heights, Utah. I have grown up on a local swim team and love to swim in my free time. In the past I have traveled to parts in Europe and deeply fell in love with traveling. I love meeting new people and learning about their lives. I love to play the piano and the ukulele. Music is a big part of my life. I love when music connects people together. I have graduated with an Associates in Pre-Education and I am excited to join the Teacher's Program to go into Elementary Teaching and graduate with a Bachelors in Elementary Education. I have put a pause after receiving my Associates Degree to go on a LDS mission to Des Moines, Iowa.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I want to share how much I love every one of God's children and express my love for Jesus Christ. I grew up in this church and was surrounded by many loving and supporting members. I have a very strong testimony of families. I know that when we lose a loved one that is near and dear to our hearts, we don't lose them to nothing. We will be able to see them all again. They are with our Father in Heaven. How I live my faith

In the past, I have helped plan youth and young single adults activities in the church. I have loved inviting and getting to know many types of people while also sharing the gospel. One of my favorite parts of our church is the knowledge of families. I have loved being able to work with friends through my church to find people from their family history. Family is such a big part in many people's lives. I love to learn and about how families came to where they are and what part their ancestors played and how it affected their lives.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Family is important because it is central to God's divine Plan of Happiness. This Plan of Happiness is also known as the Plan of Salvation. This divine plan makes it all possible for all of us of return to God and to be with our families not just for our time on this Earth, but for eternity. Because the family is the central part in God's plan, there are different roles in the family that our church guides us to follow. These types of roles are told through a proclamation written by our latter day prophets. It is called The Family: A Proclamation to the World. Show more Show less
