Hi I'm Hannah Philpot

I grew up in Plain City, Utah. I use graphic design and writing to share the gospel online. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Hannah and I am a dancer, writer, and graphic designer. I am currently attending school at Brigham Young University where I am studying English. I will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Buenos Aires, Argentina for 18 months. I love to travel, hike, and spend time outdoors.

Why I am a Mormon

Despite being born into this church, it was very important to my parents that I gained my own personal testimony of the gospel and of this church. By studying the church and the scriptures, and praying to my Heavenly Father, I have come to know of the truthfulness of this gospel. Seeing the happiness and eternal perspective this gospel gives me every single day has been my major push to continue to follow His gospel.

How I live my faith

Before college, I served in my church as a nursery leader where I taught and took care of the 1-3 year-olds during church service hours. When I moved to my new ward at Brigham Young University, I served as a Sunday school teacher. This allowed me to teach the Old Testament to my peers for an hour each Sunday. Additionally, I try to live each day as service-oriented as possible. This includes tying blankets for refugees, volunteering at community events, and I even had the opportunity to travel to Fiji and participate in some humanitarian work.
