Hi I'm Lee

I grew up in Arizona. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have attended E.V.I.T. and took the Massage Therapy classes. I am going on a full time mission and report June 13, 2018! I play the flute too.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the gospel but like everyone else, I had to find my own testimony. I had to find out for myself if the gospel was true and not take someone else's word. I didn't really understand or take the time to learn about the gospel in my own way on my own time because I was caught up in the world. I was always busy and never had enough time and wasn't willing to sacrifice my own time. I thought I was pretty content with life because nothing was too easy, nothing was too hard. Then, the trials came and to me, I thought my world was ending. Around that time, my seminary teacher gave a specific lesson about Atonement and repentance and how Christ really cares for us and always has His hand outstretched to us. The lesson was given just at the right time with a lot of passion. After that, I began to notice that my seminary teacher had a huge passion for the gospel that I didn't understand. Seminary became my favorite part of my day because the seminary teacher explained things about the gospel that made sense and it was explained with such emotion that I was curious about the gospel itself. I wondered why the seminary teacher cared at all. Through that, I figured out that if I wanted to understand as the seminary teacher did, I would have to find out in my own way. So I started to. It didn't all happen at once. I began one day, then continued a few days later. I wasn't proficient at all. But I steadily grew over time. The trials seemed to have become worse, but I clung to God instead of abandoning Him. My faith grew as I studied the word and questioned anything that didn't make sense. I questioned and sought answers through the scriptures, prayer and I would ask anyone in church if I didn't understand. My desire to learn the gospel and to know more about God grew. Somewhere along the line, I knew I wanted to serve a mission. To complete that goal, I did what was necessary and in April, I received papers saying that I will serve a full time mission and report June 13.

How I live my faith

I am going on a mission and report to the MTC (a place where missionaries go to be trained) on June 13, 2018. Until then, I teach sunbeams or kids that are around 4-5.
