Hi I'm Ethan
I spent my youth in Illinois. I learned to play Euphonium. I'm a Mormon.
About Me
I have three siblings, one of which is developmentally delayed. I have spent a lot of time playing an instrument in the high school marching band and concert band. I also love camping. I spent high school at the local community college, and got to meet all kinds of people. I really enjoy music. Astronomy is super interesting to me and I love reading about the stars.
Why I am a Mormon
Although my parents raised me as a Mormon, I had to find a personal reason to do so. For me it was the power of Jesus Christ to forgive me of my sins. As I read the Book of Mormon and prayed earnestly I developed and grew a testimony of Christ's great love for all His children on Earth, including me. I am a part of this church because it is so clear and consistent. When the world is such a muddled and confusing place I know I can go to church and find order and peace.
How I live my faith
I love spending time reading the Book of Mormon. I find so much peace while attending church services and help the church by planning youth events. Doing genealogy work is so wonderful and I spend much time learning about my ancestors. Doing these things helps me get closer to my Savior, Jesus Christ. He is such a strong example for me in my life and I strive to live like He did by self reflecting often and changing my behavior to become more Christ-like.
