Hi I'm Samantha Berg

I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days saints serving in the Japan Fukuoka Mission, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Samantha and I am serving as a missionary in the Japan Fukuoka Mission. I love the gospel and how it has helped bring my family together. I love to play sports, especially basketball and tennis! I enjoy doing pottery as well. I am not super musical, but am learning to play the ukulele.

Why I am a Mormon

I was blessed to grow up in the LDS church, but the things that were taught were never forced upon me by my parents. They taught me what they believed, but then left it up to me to decide for myself whether or not I believed the gospel. I took the steps to be baptized, and have gained my own testimony of the Book of Mormon and the Church. I gained a lot of my testimony because of the gift of the Holy Ghost, and prayer. As I prayed and talked to my Father in Heaven he answered me and helped me know that what my parents had been teaching me my whole life was true. I have grown to love this Church and can truly feel the joy that comes from living the Gospel of Christ. I chose to serve a mission so that i can help others feel the joy that i feel as they come unto Christ.

How I live my faith

As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints i have chosen to take 18 months and leave my home and my family to teach the Gospel of Christ. I was called to serve the amazing people of Japan, and even though i miss my family, I am grateful to be able to share my testimony and help others come unto Christ.
