Hi I'm Kayla

I grew up in Montana. I play the trumpet. I am a student. I am a missionary in the Philippines. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in Great Falls, Montana, I am now a student at BYU in Utah. I love music and have played trumpet and piano for most of my life. I like airplanes and flying, and also the vacationing that usually goes with that. I am a golfer and an avid sports fan. I have an amazing family and some of my favorite memories are as simple as sitting outside and spending time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I may have been born into this faith, but all members go through a conversion process. It is not always easy to have faith, but through the consistent practice of small and simple things, I have been able to gain a personal witness of the truthfulness of the gospel. This gospel is a message of hope and an assurance that God loves each and every one of us. Living the gospel can be hard, but it is totally worth it. The peace the gospel brings and the many miracles I have witnessed as a member of this church are why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

Growing up in central Montana, I wasn't always surrounded by lots of other members of my faith. Going to school in Utah was a different story. Even though both experiences were unique and challenging in their own ways, I have always been happy to live my faith and share my beliefs with others. I love the opportunity I have to go to church each Sunday and the opportunities I have every other day to serve and love others and practice my religion.
