Hi I'm Aubrey Johansen

I grew up in Heber City Utah. I'm serving a mission in Georgia. I am a Mormon.

About Me

After graduating from high school, I attended a year of college before deciding to serve a mission. I grew up playing the piano and dancing, and have tried to carry on those interests in my college career. I love spending time with my family, and have 4 brothers and 1 sister, with 2 nephews and 1 niece that I adore.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the peace and happiness that the gospel brings me. I lost my mother at a young age, and through this trial I found peace and hope in the fact that families can be together forever. As I grow in this faith, I grow in knowledge and strength that helps me with any trials I may go through. I know that I am never alone, and that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and watches over me. I know that as I strive to keep his commandments, I will be blessed. I have seen those blessings in my life as I have lived righteously.

How I live my faith

While attending college, it was very important for me to continue to grow in my faith without the help of my family members. I loved attending and serving in my Young Single Adults Ward, where I was called to be the visiting teaching coordinator. This helped me grow a love for visiting teaching and the girls that I would visit monthly to share a message with. The easiest way for me to live and share my faith is through service. My university offered many service opportunities, and my favorite ones to attend involved helping kids with special needs. I also enjoy visiting local assisted living centers and playing the piano for them.
