Hi I'm Carissa

I was born in Orange County, California, but raised in Georgia, and I’m a Mormon

About Me

I'm Tongan and was born in California, but raised in Georgia by my parents who are biologically my aunt and uncle. I was adopted at birth, and I’m grateful for that, because I was able to be raised in the true gospel. I love to watch volleyball, football, and rugby games, help others, and be around the people that I love. I’m currently preparing to serve as a full time missionary in the Idaho Nampa Mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, and how grateful I am for that. This gospel has brought so many blessings and so much light into my life. I’m grateful for the way the Holy Spirit guides and directs my life, making sure I’m on the right path. I’m grateful for the Book Of Mormon, and the power that it has in it, and as I continue to feast upon the words of Christ with a open mind and heart I know that I will get the answers to my questions and have more guidance of the spirit. I’m grateful for the Atonement, and the sacrifice He made for us that we may be able to return to Him again. I’m grateful for our living Prophet and the role that he plays in guiding our church here on earth. I know that this gospel is true, I’m grateful for my ward family and my bishopric and all they do for me and my family. I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently an assistant secretary in my ward for one of the organizations in my ward.
