Hi I'm Carrie Greene

I am from Orem, Utah. I love service and missionary work. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love animals, and have had dozens of pets. Some of my favorites are a ball python named Buddy, a tarantula named Aragog, and a rat terrier named Sophie. I also have volunteered for about a year at an equestrian therapy center. I love Ultimate Frisbee and played all through high school and into college, where I'm currently at. I'm currently trying to learn Spanish, and love ASL and have been learning for a little over three years.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because God blessed me to first be born into His Church and to be raised by righteous parents who taught the gospel through their examples, and second because God has given me my own testimony through study, prayer, and the Spirit that this Church, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, is true. I know it by the way I feel when I live it. I know the Book of Mormon is true because I feel peace when I read it and it has taught me so much about myself and my relationship to God. I know Joseph Smith is a prophet and that the First Vision is real, and from that I know God knows me by name and all of His children by name. Possibly the cornerstone of my faith though comes from the knowledge I have that Jesus Christ is real, that He is my Savior, and that He lives. He loves me and all of God's children so much and wants us to repent and come to Him to find true joy. My favorite scripture is 2 Nephi 22:2-3 Christ is the way to joy and salvation. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

How I live my faith

I grew up in the LDS Church and have been to several wards in my life. Some of my favorite callings have been Stake Youth Council and FHE coordinator. When I was in Young Womens I had several callings and I still love the Young Womens program it is so fun and spiritual.
