Hi I'm Audrey

I'm a college student and avid learner. I love my family, the outdoors, music, people, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love smiling and being with people, especially my family and friends. Things I like to do with my family are to travel, backpack, snow ski, rollerblade, be outdoors, or just spend time as a family over some good food. Music is also very fulfilling. I love to sing and play the piano and harp. I just finished my first year of college, and I loved it! Learning is so eye-opening. Shortly, I will have the opportunity to love the people of the Philippines as I will be serving them as a full time missionary. I’m excited to share God’s love for them, and the plan that He has for us, His children.

Why I am a Mormon

Short answer? I am a Mormon because I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the only church that has the fullness of the truth, and because I find peace and happiness by following its precepts and teachings. Long answer? I have always been a Mormon and had a testimony, but biggest point I can trace my conversion to is when a church leader suggested that we read The Book of Mormon. I was in elementary school at the time, but I took the challenge and have read The Book of Mormon every night since. After reading The Book of Mormon for my first time, I prayed to know if it was true. I felt God’s love for me very strongly testifying to me that God loved me, and that The Book of Mormon was scripture given to us from God. I love this religion because I have found that its teachings bring me peace, a sense of purpose, and a love for those around me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the way I conduct myself on a daily basis. I read The Book of Mormon and pray every day and strive to treat those around me the way God would. I do this by having patience with them, loving them, serving them, and withholding judgement for others. I’m not perfect, so I mess up all the time, but I do my best and consequently improvement does come. But the best thing about serving others is that you automatically feel love for them and feel like you have done something good in the world. It is very fulfilling.
