Hi I'm Samantha

I was born and raised in Utah. I have 5 siblings and over 100 cousins. I love teaching and helping children. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I finished my freshman year at BYU and I am preparing for a mission. I love all sports, especially soccer and basketball. I am the third child of six. I was raised in a very strong religious community and have always felt strong and invested in the gospel. I am very outgoing on the outside, but do not share much of my feelings and deep thoughts with others. I love working and spending time with children. I want to be an elementary school teacher!

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and never really had problems believing it was true. In a sense, I was blessed with faith. I struggled with different sins, but continually brushed past them and pushed them to the back of my mind. Finally, I reached out for help and was able to fully use the Atonement for my transgressions. Jesus Christ helped me become clean, worthy and pure. It is through Jesus Christ that I am able to return back to my Father in Heaven. This gospel helps lead God's children back on the path to returning to our celestial home. I am a Mormon because this gospel is the true gospel of Jesus Christ. Through this gospel, I am able to work toward my goal of eternal life under the proper authority. Without His church, I do not know where I would be today, or what my life would be like. This gospel gives me meaning and purpose and above all, happiness. This life is a time of trial and hardship. With Jesus Christ right by my side, I have been able to face my trials, and will be able to face my trials in the future. I have found comfort and hope in times that should've been hopeless. I have felt love and friendship in times I should've felt completely alone or abandoned. God loves me. He has a plan for me. He hears me and knows me. I am a Mormon because I love Him and want to follow His plan for me.

How I live my faith

I fulfill my calling as a ward organist and family home evening leader. I influence the youth to attend activities and church. I share my testimony with others so that they may be uplifted and so that their testimonies may grow as well.
