Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Southern California and i'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a freshman at Brigham Young University-Provo and I enjoy spending time with friends, reading, and hand lettering. I have been called to the Tennessee Nashville mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, but I am Mormon because of the testimony I gained growing up in the church. As I regularly attended church meetings and read the Book of Mormon, I grew closer to my Father in Heaven and came to know of the truth spoken in the doctrines the LDS church preaches. I have a testimony of the restoration of the gospel and Joseph Smith's role in it. I know we have a loving God watching over us and He wants us to return to Him one day. I am grateful for the happiness and blessings I have because of my beliefs. I know this church is true and I love it with all my heart.

How I live my faith

I participate in my community by serving others around me and in my church callings. I enjoy working with others to bring happiness to people however I can.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Mormons are not required to serve a mission, but it is highly encouraged for all young men and women. Missions are hard work and require full dedication during the 18 or 24 months asked of the youth. People serve missions because the promised blessings are beyond explanation and the experiences they have will stay with the individual and their investigators for the rest of their lives.
