Hi I'm Ryan Hall

Born in Payson Utah and Moved to Hillsboro Oregon when I was 3. I just finished a year at BYU Studying Mechanical Engineering

About Me

I am typically found having fun with people. I Graduated High school Spring 2017. In high school I played Lacrosse and was involved in Leadership, Scouting and Metal working. I welded my own small vehicle for my Sr. Project and I have fallen in love with hobbies involving metal working. I attended BYU Fall-Winter of the 2017-2018 school year. I plan to study Mechanical Engineering and will be submitting an application to the Program. I loved college and made many life-long friends there. I am dedicated to my school work as well as everything I am involved with. I plan to finish up a bachelors degree at BYU and then go on to a different university for my Masters and Ph. D. research. I love spending time with people, and helping out others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the teachings and blessings that come from this church have changed my life. There have been times in my life where I have felt very dark and alone. In these moments I felt like nothing that I could do ever lessened the burdens. It was in this moment that I felt that I needed to test the church for my self and see if it was true. I was promised that If I read the Book of Mormon and diligently and sincerely asked for help that God would send it. There were many nights that I would lie down and just pour my soul out to god asking for help, and every time I asked I always received comfort. It wasn't always immediately or in the way that I expected it but it always came. Now I can not imagine a life without the gospel as it has changed me and brought true happiness into my life.

How I live my faith

I prefer to live my faith by how I act. I try to be an example of Christ while not looking for attention. I have served in various responsibilities in the church and have enjoyed all of them. Some were as little as 1hr a week commitment and others as much as 12-14hrs a week. I enjoy getting to know people and My biggest goal is to make friends and truly love those around me. In the end I don't plan to push my religion upon people, but hope that as they get to know me I can share with them the reason behind how happy of a person I am. I love serving and being there for others and want to help out people regardless of what they believe, we are all sons and daughters of God.
