Hi I'm Marshall

I was born and raised in the Northwest. I lifeguard and teach kids how to swim. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a soon to be missionary in the Hungary/Romania mission. I swam all of high school as well as did theater. I was a lifeguard at a local pool and grew to love the people I worked with as well as those I taught swim lessons to.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I've taken Moroni's challenge and prayed about the Book of Mormon after reading it. I cannot deny the confirmation I received. Once I knew that the book was true, that meant that everything else I had learned and knew about the church was true. This meant that Jesus was the Christ and that He indeed showed Himself with God the Father to Joseph Smith. This meant that the Atonement of Jesus Christ was real. This meant that I could become clean again and become like Him. This also means that I can be sealed to a beautiful daughter of God who loves me and whom I love for time and all eternity. The 13th Article of Faith states it perfectly for me, "... If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.". Everything the church teaches is virtuous, lovely, of good report and praiseworthy, which is why i seek it.

How I live my faith

I have participated in most of my young men's quorum presidency's. Most of my interactions with the community were as I worked at my local pool. I served those I worked with the best I could and tried to be an example of a good employee and how to work hard. I also took the opportunity to teach a little extra in my swim lesson classes how to have fun and behave nicely with the other kids.
