Hi I'm Dallin

I am a student at BYU, a photographer, a lover of the outdoors, a decent hacky-sack player, and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I was born in New York, and grew up in Utah and Connecticut. I am a middle child with two older and two younger siblings. I had a rebellious rock-and-rap-music phase growing up. I once separated my shoulder doing a somersault down a waterslide. I love just about any activity outdoors that involves a river or a mountain. My laugh is funnier most times than my jokes. I am passionate about photography, and I started my own photography business. When I'm not taking pictures for a client, I love shooting nature photography on 35mm film. I am a student at Brigham Young University, and hope to one day be a teacher or professor.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is a true record. I have read the Book of Mormon multiple times, and I have felt of its truthfulness each time I read it. My testimony is that I know that Jesus Christ lives, and that Christ restored His true church through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that through the Infinite Atonement of Jesus Christ, that all mankind can attain Eternal Life and be reunited with our Heavenly Father, if we repent, because Christ suffered and died on our behalf. Christ is my source of life and happiness, and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by reading the holy scriptures every day, praying to my Heavenly Father morning and night, worshipping in the temple frequently throughout the month, and by trying to be like Christ in all I do. I love having the opportunity to teach Gospel lessons in church worship services. When making nature photographs, I always try to identify God's hand in all things, and I find that the more time I spend observing nature through photography, the closer I come to God. I try to bear my testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ through my actions primarily, and when it is necessary, I use words.
