Hi I'm Alexander

I’m from San Jose, California, but I grew up in Rancho Cucamonga, California. I’m getting ready to serve my mission in Brazil.

About Me

My name is Alex and I graduated high school in the year of 2017. My favorite things to do is sleep and hang out with my friends. I don’t get to do that stuff as much since I’ve graduated but it is nice to spend my free time sleeping. I’m Mormon and I do attend church every Sunday. Going to church is very important to me because my family and I can gather together to partake of sacrament and remember all that the Lord has done for us. Then after church we can go home and eat together. My family has helped me become a strong young man and I my goal is to pay them back for all that they had done for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this religion. My Mother was Mormon and my Father was a Christian, although he never went to church. When I was young, going to church was just a routine and I tried to avoid going to church. When I went to church, I would always end up having a good time. The only thing I struggled with was waking up. Now church is way more than just a routine to me. I grew up going to church every Sunday and when if I wasn’t at church, I would feel out of place. Church is important to me and it’s always good to see family and friends gather to learn the gospel. I’m a Mormon because I believe in this faith. I believe that Joseph Smith has seen Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I believe our Prophet to be true and his counselors to be true.

How I live my faith

I am a Sunday School Teacher at Church. I teach Youth from ages 14-15. It is a very humbling position. I get to see how the new generation prepares to enter the world and I get to help guide them to the right path. I prepare lessons for them every week and I learn from them just as much as they learn from me. Becoming a teacher has helped me get ready to serve my Mission.
