Hi I'm Carter Steenbakkers

I grew up in Texas. I love baseball, fishing, and cookouts with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Texas. I love baseball, fishing, and cookouts with my family and friends. I have 3 younger brothers and a younger sister. I come from a very competitive family, so everything is a competition when it comes to doing things with my brothers. I am currently taking a break from college to serve a two year mission for the church in Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a family that attends this church, so from a young age I have been coming to church. As I grew up I made lots of friends both in and outside my church. As I lived my beliefs I became and example for my friends that weren't members, they came to respect and admire me for my beliefs and the way that I lived my life. I have felt very blessed to have a testimony of Jesus Christ and the love that He has for me. I can feel this love as I go through hard times, because I know that when all else fails, He is watching me and is wanting to help me through my trials. I feel blessed that Jesus Christ died on the cross for my sins, and that any time I make a mistake He is there with an outstretched hand ready to pull me back up and encourage me that I can do better next time.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being an active member of my ward. I do my best to always attend ward activities and help out with the youth when I am available. I most recently have been teaching a sunday school class for the 12 and 13 year old boys at my church.
