Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I grew up in Idaho learning to read and laugh a little too often. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I've learned that faith, family, and failure are the most important aspects of my life. When I'm not going to college in Idaho, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love to laugh, read, and play volleyball.

Why I am a Mormon

I am always looking for peace and hope in my life, and the biggest source of comfort and happiness I have ever found in my life has come through Jesus Christ and His restored gospel here on the earth. Whenever I read the scriptures, go to His holy temple, or attend church, the Holy Spirit manifests to me that God loves all His children, including me! That is the biggest eternal truth on this earth- that God loves every single one of His children and He wants our happiness. I know whenever I make mistakes or lose my way, there is a way to return back to His arms.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the everyday things I do. Just as Christ focused on service and being a friend, that is the first step I take in becoming like Him. Being kind and thinking about the needs of others and how Jesus Christ would treat others (including myself) is what I try to focus my efforts around. Living your faith isn't about grandiose things we do, but rather the small things we can do every day to come closer to Christ.
