Hi I'm Courtney

I was born, raised, and have lived in Utah my entire life. I'm a Mormon, and I love it.

About Me

I love life! I love to read, play the piano, dance, sing, cheer, and do anything with my family and friends. I graduated high school, and I just recently graduated with my Associates degree from the local university. I just received my mission call, and I am so excited to serve and be a full time missionary. I have never lived away from home, free rent is nice, but I am so excited to embark on this new adventure. I work as a secretary, and even if it isn't fun all of the time I love the people I work with. I love talking to people and getting to know their backgrounds and stories!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I know with my whole heart and soul that this is Jesus Christ's true church on the Earth today! I found this out for myself when I was attending seminary. We were having a testimony meeting, and the Holy Ghost whispered to my heart and mind that all of this is true. Since then I have continued growing, studying, and learning. I know that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father who loves me, and He loves all of His children! I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Every time I read from that miraculous book, I find the answers to life's questions, I feel peace, and I receive answers to my prayers. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, and he translated the Book of Mormon with Divine help. I also know we have a living prophet here on the Earth today who is the Lord's mouthpiece! I am grateful to know that Jesus is the Christ, and He is the Savior and Redeemer of the world. I know that He died for me, and now He lives. Because He lives, I am able to live with my family forever and someday return to live with Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I am a Mormon, and I love it because all of the truths I know bring me unimaginable happiness that I cannot find anywhere else!

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith in every aspect of my life by being an example of the believers. I try to be kind and invite everyone to come unto Jesus Christ. I am a friend to anyone whoever needs one, and I will always be a listening ear. I was a family history consultant because I love learning about my ancestors, and preparing their names to take to the temple. In the temple I can stand proxy for those of my family members that did not receive the necessary ordinances while they were living. I also participate in service projects and do anything that helps the community.
