Hi I'm Nathan

I’m entergetic and funny. I love music, acting, and being with friends and family. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

was born in Utah but moved to Illinois when I was five years old. I grew up in the same area for fourteen years and have loved every moment of it. I am the youngest of six kids and I have enjoyed being in a huge family. It makes life a lot more interesting. Since I was young I have always been into the arts, I have been playing piano since I was eight and started to learn the oboe a year later. I have enjoyed playing music throughout the years and it has brought so much joy to my life and others as well. Furthermore, I love to act. I have had the opportunity to perform in many different plays throughout the years as well as direct a show at my high school. In my free time you can catch me at a piano or talking to someone.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for a myself that this religion is true. I have studied other religions and have still come to the same conclusion that this church is the true church of God. The values and standards that have been given to us by prophets and apostles keep me safe. Furthermore, I know that when I am living the gospel it makes me happy. That is the main reason why I am a Mormon and why I will always be a Mormon because of the happiness and peace that it brings to my life. I know that when I am troubled or when adversity comes I will always have a savior to depend upon and rely upon. I have felt God’s love for me in my life and that has come from being a Mormon. From being a Mormon, I have gained the knowledge that I will be able to live with my family forever and see those that have passed on again. The gospel brings comfort to my life and I know that when my heart is set upon the teachings of Jesus Christ I will be able to feel comforted no matter what. I know that God truly knows me and loves me.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith through the small acts I do everyday, either it be smiling to random people on the street or holding the door open for people behind me. You do not need to do something grand everyday to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I have found the love that I have for others as I serve. I have had the amazing opportunity to serve at local homeless shelter and have felt the love and peace from serving others. I try my best to give compliments to people no matter how awkward it may be at time, but I believe everyone needs to feel loved and appreciated no matter what. I try to stick up for those that cannot do it themselves. I love being around, talking to, and getting to know other people.
