Hi I'm Katelyn Howes

I grew up in Woods Cross, Utah. I teach piano and love working with children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy anything that has to do with music. I love playing the piano and singing. I enjoy reading and love all kinds of books. I am going to school to become an Elementary Teacher and I also teach piano to children of all ages.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I have come to the knowledge for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church. I have grown up surrounded by people of the same faith but realized the importance of gaining my own testimony of the gospel that I was living. I fervently read the Book of Mormon and have prayed and felt the reassurance that this book is true. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet called of God and that we have a living prophet that leads and guides this church today. I also know we have a Father in Heaven who loves each and every one of us and we are His children.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church meetings each week and serving in my callings where I play the piano for the ward choir and I play the organ for our sacrament meetings. I am currently a member of a YSA ward or a young single adult ward that has members from age 18-30. It has been a great adventure and I love being able to learn more about the gospel each week with them.
