Hi I'm Annalee

I was raised in the South. I play the ukulele. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the big sister to four siblings and have an amazing family! I'm in high school, and I love learning, writing, baking, dancing, reading, hiking, food, music, and adventure. Life in general! I'm fascinated by people, history, literature, different cultures, and other countries. I wish I could learn every single language so I could talk to people everywhere I go! I've played the piano for a long time and the ukulele for a short time. I am an optimist! I love the gospel of Jesus Christ - it makes everything in my life so much richer and fuller!

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of the Church my entire life, and as I've grown older, I've seen how different - in a good way! - my life is because of the gospel, and I wouldn't want it any other way. As a child, I think I relied on my parents' testimony a lot, but once I got old enough to ask questions for myself, I came to know for certain that this is Christ's true Church. Living the teachings of the gospel, studying the scriptures, and connecting with my Heavenly Father through prayer have changed my life from good to better. The gospel has brought me REAL HAPPINESS, and that is my ultimate goal!! I know that being a member of Christ's true Church is the way to have that happiness forever, and I'm so grateful for that knowledge!

How I live my faith

I serve as the accompanist to the young women in our local congregation, which is so fun (and a great motivation to practice the piano!). I also love to bake treats for people who are going through something hard or stressful, or who just need a plate of homemade cookies. :) I have so many opportunities to develop and share my talents because of the gospel!!

How can we come to know our Father in Heaven?

Annalee
Heavenly Father wants to have a close relationship with Him, but He also won't force us to come to know Him. We can choose to come closer to Him through sincere prayer (tell Him about everything! Your problems, your joys, your questions!), studying the scriptures, and keeping the commandments - they are guidelines that ultimately help you become more like God! Show more Show less
