Hi I'm McKenna

I grew up in Utah and Wisconsin. I am a nursing assistant. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have finished my freshman year of college. I am a certified nursing assistant. In high school, I competed in baking competitions. I love to read and go on road trips and hiking trips with friends. I have moved around a lot in my life, moving a total of 10 times. There are five children in my family, I am the middle child.

Why I am a Mormon

I have moved around a lot in my life. As a child, being ripped away from friends and loved ones can be hard. There were many rough days starting at new schools. Through it all, I had the gospel. Whenever I was having a bad day, I knew I could turn to my Heavenly Father in prayer and He would comfort me. Often feeling alone in a new city, the ward members would be among my first friends in the area. Heavenly Father loves each of His children and wants the best for them. In my hardest times, I could feel His love for me. Being a member of His church brings me a peace and happiness I otherwise would not have, that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith on a daily basis. I try my best to say my prayers every day and to study the scriptures. I make it a goal to attend the temple once a week. By following the commandments, I can feel the influence of the Holy Ghost in my life. My day and week go a lot better when I know I am following his will. I refrain from swearing and using crass language. I treat others with Christ-like love, following his teachings.
