Hi I'm Hunter

I'm from Arizona. I'm majoring in Geology. I love rocks & people! I am called to serve in El Salvador East mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a college student majoring in Geology. I love rocks and people and running. In high school, I was a cross country and track runner. It is one of my favorite past times. My motto is "Make a smile every mile!" I love running because while I run, I cheer on others to do their best. My family is full to runners. My grandpa still holds the school record for the mile in his high school. My mother was a state champion in the 4 x 400 relay. I competed at the state level in cross country running a little over 5K. My brother and sisters are also runners. They may not like running longer distance, but they are amazing at the 400 and 800 meter runs. Our family loves running so much that we created foundation in our local community to support youth sports. Our big event is the High Mountain Half marathon, relay and 5K to raise money for kids in the White Mountains of Arizona.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have read the Book of Mormon and know of it's truthfulness. I love reading the scriptures and I love reading the scriptures every day. The stories and symbolism found in the scriptures brings such an impact and joy in my life as I really take the time to study and ponder on the meanings contained in these glorious words. I have also had so many examples in my life that have taught me how to live the gospel of Jesus Christ. I love that I am taught to serve everyone, to love everyone unconditionally and to do my best to follow the path of my Savior.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! I am an Elder in my church. This gives me the opportunity to better serve my family, church and community through service.
