Hi I'm Hayden

Born and raised in California. I'm a musician, artist, and gamer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Southern California and have moved all up and down the state my whole life. I have always been a sucker for music and the arts and they have been a huge part of my life since I was in the third grade. In High school, I struggled a lot and music is what motivated me to keep going to school at all. All of my family is gifted in the arts in many different ways and this gift goes very far down the line. Recently, half my county burned in a series of wildfires. While myself and my family were not direct victims of the fires and we did not lose our home, our landlord did. We were forced to find a new home in what was already a terrible housing market even before half of the houses in the county were reduced to ash. During our struggles to find a new home, we knew that there was a blessing that would come from this if we have faith. We ended up buying a home not too far from where we lived originally and bought it. And we've never felt more at home than we have since we moved to this new house. I have been called to serve a mission in the Salt Lake City East mission since then. I look forward to serving and being a full-time missionary.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it just makes sense. Generally speaking, I'm a skeptical person by nature. I have to have proof for everything, and the unknown scares me. However, I have seen all the proof I need that this church is true. "The scriptures are laid before thee, yea, and all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator."

How I live my faith

In my life, I try to serve as much as possible, whether it's physical labor or just being there for someone who is struggling. I try to make myself available for whatever is needed, whenever it is needed. I like to help people, and that's one of my biggest drives in serving a mission is the opportunities to help people that come from that.
