Hi I'm Brooklyn

I grew up in Utah, studying to become a Master Herbalist and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was homeschooled from 10-12 grade and now I'm currently attending The School of Natural Healing online and loving every moment of it. I love to ski, go hiking and camping and spending time in nature with the ones I love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have come to the knowledge that this Church is true over time. I grew up in the church but not in a normal family setting. When I was 3 years old my parents got a divorce and my older brother, mom and I lived on our own for 3 years until she married my now step dad when I was 6. I then added 4 new siblings into my family. Those years were as normal as they could be in those circumstances but when I turned 11 my step dad decided he didn't believe in the church anymore. Not having any priesthood in the home, my older brother not being old enough, is something I am accustomed to now but in the beginning it was very hard. I didn't understand the dynamics of me going to church alone sometimes so I decided that church just wasn't going to be my thing. I went through a lot of hard times from the ages of 11-15. When I turned 16 I wanted to know if the church was true on my own. I started going to church regularly and reading the Book of Mormon for the first time in my life and when I finished the book, I cried because I knew in my heart that the church is the true church of God and has the building blocks of a strong united family unit that can be together for all eternity. Ever since I have been building up my testimony, happy that I found my place in this world. It gives me hope for the future and the LDS community is incredible! I love this church.

How I live my faith

I love doing service projects for my community for I love the feeling that I am helping others and making them feel good inside. I teach Sunday School for kiddo's who are 7-8 years old. I love them so much and love their bright faces I see every week.
