Hi I'm Natalya Maddocks

I grew up West Valley City, Utah and I play the piano and cello. I'm a proud Mormon!

About Me

I started playing the cello when I was eleven and taught myself how to play the piano when I was thirteen. When I was four, I started learning to dance. The type of dance I do is called clogging. I did competitive clogging for about ten years. I've attended one year of college.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because its teaching are something that I know to be true. Since I grew up in this church, I didn't always know it was true. I had to be converted and learn for myself just like everyone else. I've had so many experiences and feelings telling me that the LDS church is the one and only true church on the earth. Through these experiences, I've come to know that Joseph Smith was a living prophet of God and that he translated the Book of Mormon through the power of God; that we have a living prophet of God today known as Russell M. Nelson. Jesus Christ died for us and made it possible for all of us to live with Him and our Heavenly Father again. I've come to know that I can talk with my Father in Heaven about anything and that He will give me the help that I need. I know that this church is true.

How I live my faith

I've been taught the LDS gospel all my life. It's something that is a huge part of who I am. I've served as class president a couple of times and as a Young Women pianist. I've been called as a ward missionary and a Family Home Evening group leader. I've taught many lessons to my peers and have volunteered at numerous places. I've helped out at care centers and the community in general. I try to be kind to people whenever I meet someone new. I want to do my best to become Christ-like, so I try to live my life in the way Jesus Christ would.
