Hi I'm Rachel Wood

I'm an Idaho spud. I love the outdoors, my family, and dogs. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm attending a university to become a nurse and am loving every second of it. I have three older brothers, two of which are married. I love them as well as my sister in laws. I have a brand new nephew. I love him so much already! I look forward to seeing my family grow, both in number and in faith. I love piano, dogs of every kind, and peanut butter. I love the outdoors! I love tennis, sports in general, hiking, scuba diving, biking, and the like. I look forward to opportunities to travel. I love to see the different parts of this beautiful world and meeting God's children that live there. I hope to learn how to rock climb, bake, paint, and how to take beautiful photos.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in this church, His church. But I was converted over a long period of time. I always felt a happiness when I learned of Him and His doctrines. I always felt in my heart this church is the true and living church that Jesus Christ is over. But as I read the Book of Mormon, this feeling increased and has now become a strong and powerful testimony to withstand evil. I will try and be force for good throughout my life. To Him who gave His life for me, I will try to give my all for Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by loving others. I try to serve in many kinds of ways. I have had callings in my Young Women's class and as a visiting teaching coordinator. It has brought me closer to my brothers and sisters. I try to be an example of the believers. As of now, I'm preparing to serve a mission. I look forward to the ways in which I can help others come unto Christ, our Savior and Redeemer!
